Hey, It’s Mark here, and in this video I’m going to share with you the three steps every single person looking to transform their body needs to know.
So look, you can have the best training program in the world. You can have the best nutrition plan in the world. But if you don’t understand these three steps to actually transform your body… Think about it. If you want to transform your body, what you’re doing essentially is transforming your life. I know you’ve met people that have lost weight in the past, and then they’ve just gained it back, to get back to where they started or even more. It’s crazy to think, because there was a study done and it showed that 75% of people that lost weight ended up gaining it back in the first year, 85% gained it back in the second year, and 95% of people that lose weight end up gaining it back in the third year anyway. 95%. Have you been one of those 95% of people?
My point is there’s more to it than just a training program, exercising, nutrition. There’s more to it than that. And what I’m about to share with you is a three step process that, if you take it on board, if you implement it, I guarantee you, guarantee you, you’ll transform your life. You’ll transform your body, how you look, how you feel, because it’s more than just about a training program. There are three steps to transforming your body and your life. I’ve worked with more than 500 clients over the last five years. And I can tell you the difference between the people that achieve their weight loss goals, their health and fitness goals, and the ones that don’t, are these three things.
Number one, mindset. Number two, education. And number three, taking action on a consistent basis. So let’s start off with number one. Think about it yourself. If you were to take a step forward, and not be sure that you can take that step forward, there’s a bit of doubt in there. There’s a bit of doubt that will affect and impact your performance. So when you think about the last time that you wanted to transform, you wanted to start a transformation journey, what was the image that you held in your mind before you took that step forward? Did you have any doubt? Did you believe that you couldn’t do it? Well that image that you hold in your mind of yourself, of your goal, that will impact whether you can or can’t achieve that goal.
It goes like this. So if I was to ask you don’t think of a blue tree, what do you think of? Most likely the blue tree, right? Hold on, I told you not to think of a blue tree. Because our mind can’t process a negative. And so when you think about losing weight, if you think about your nutrition plan for the week, when you think about your nutrition program, if you think about your nutrition, plan, your meal prepping, your training, all of that that comes with a health and fitness goal. How do you feel about that? What do you think of? What do you see when you think about that image?
Have you ever wanted to start a transformation program? Have you ever wanted to do a training program? Have you ever told yourself that’s it, this week I’m going to start fresh. This I’m going to start dieting. Or Monday I’m going to start dieting. Come Monday and you just forget about it. You get caught up with life. The issue there is value. So, that comes under mindset. The issue is how important is your health and fitness goal in your mind, in your life? Is it something that you’re aware of on a day to day basis, on an hour to hour basis? Because I’m telling you now, if you’re looking to lose six to 12 kilos, if you’re looking to lose 20 kilos plus, I’m telling you now it’s going to have to be more than just a training program.
It’s going to be more than just a meal plan. It has to be instilled in your mind. Your values need to change in a hierarchy so that your health and fitness goal is at the top. Maybe not number one. You might have your career as your number one value. You might have your family as your number two value. But let me ask you a question. If your health was 100%, then would anything else matter? I guarantee you it will affect your career. I guarantee you it will affect your family and your relationships. So I’m telling you your health and fitness needs to be number one, because if you can’t look after yourself you can’t look after anything. So that’s mindset. The image that you hold of yourself in your head, the image that you hold of your goal, how you feel about it, what you believe, whether you think you can or you can’t, that will make an impact. Health and fitness needs to be number one with your values if you really want to achieve that goal.
Number two, education. So when it comes to education, let’s say you do have the right mindset. You can have the best mindset, but if you don’t have the right education, if you think cutting out carbs completely is going to achieve your health and fitness goal for the long term, then you might be wrong. I’m telling you now. For you in particular, for you specifically, you might not enjoy carbs, but if you enjoy carbs and then you choose to go for a diet plan that completely cuts out carbs then you’re going to struggle with that. I’m telling you now. The most effective plan is the one that you can follow consistently. There are only a few basic things that you have to get right when it comes to the education. When it comes to the health and fitness industry there’s so much crap out there. I’ll tell you why. Because it’s marketing. It’s designed to capture your attention. It’s designed to get you to believe that it’s easy.
I’m telling you now, it’s simple, but it’s not easy. If you really want to achieve a big health and fitness goal, if you want to achieve a life changing transformation, then it’s not going to be easy. It’s simple, but it’s not going to be easy. There’s a reason why you haven’t achieved the health and fitness goal. There’s only one way to lose weight, and that is to be in a calorie deficit.
Now if you don’t know what that means that falls under education. Find someone that can help you, to educate you, to find out what’s the best way to get your goal. Your goal is different to anyone else’s goal, but there are a few simple things that you have to do in order to achieve a health and fitness goal. It’s just like there’s only one way to gain weight, and that is to be in a calorie surplus.
So find someone that can and help you to achieve your goal and to educate you on what needs to happen to achieve your goal.
And finally, number three. Taking action, taking massive amount of action. Have you ever met someone that has the right mindset, they’re confident, they believe they can do it, they have the right education, they know what they need to know, but they just don’t take action? They say they want to do it, but they don’t take action. So when it comes to taking action, you have to understand there’s a bit of mindset in action, because you’re dealing with your conscious mind and your unconscious mind. Your unconscious mind is the part of you that will go after the results, your conscious mind is the one that will talk you out of it.
So what do you have to do? You have to think about your routine. You have to plan your routine. You have to create new habits. So if you don’t plan ahead, if you’re not prepared, then it’s going to be a lot harder to implement and take action. On the other hand, if you have a clear plan as to what you’re going to do for the future days or weeks, if you have habits instilled, planned, in your calendar, then it’s going to be a lot easier to implement. That’s how you use your conscious mind to affect your unconscious mind.
So if you have the three things, your mindset, education, and you implement. If you have the right mindset, you believe in yourself, you have your values in order, the right education backed up by science, what you need to do to achieve your goal, and then you have a clear routine, you have habits… Let me ask you a question. Do you see yourself failing? Hell no. Because you just followed that three step system and that’s the easiest way to be consistent.
Now, coming back to mindset, what happens when most people fail? They just give up, they go off track, they binge eat. A lot of people stay in that area for months, maybe even years. I’m telling you, the shorter amount of time that you spend not back on track, the quicker that you’ll get to your goal. So you have to learn from mistakes. It’s okay to make mistakes. Hey, I’ve made mistakes before. I still make mistakes. But the quicker that you learn from your mistakes, the quicker that you’ll get to your goal. Don’t spend days, weeks, months, dwelling on your mistakes. Get better at learning from those mistakes. So you can get those new resources to move ahead faster.
So, the three steps. Have the right mindset, get the right education, and take action. Re-watch this video, again and again and again, because I guarantee you it will help you get to your goal. It will help you get closer to your goal. And if you make a mistake, who cares. Get back on track. It’s okay to make mistakes.
